Elite Equipment bug, infinite items and invincibility

Elite Equipment bug

During a game with the Seekers of the Storm and Survivors of the Void DLCs active, a friend of mine encountered a bug when we entered the next level while they were holding one of the aspect equipments, in this case it was Ifrit's Distinction, but we found it worked with others as well.

I will note that before we encountered this bug we did experience a lag spike when inside the Bazaar Between Time, and we are not certain that this is related to the same issue, or what might have caused it.

What it does

The bug lets the player become practically invincible, exception being the void field damage over time, pick up an infinite amount of items by standing over them or repeatedly trying to pick them up, and might make the player unable to use certain abilities. They were playing Chef, and could only use their special ability.

The bug only affects the character holding the aspect equipment, and the bug will stop if the aspect is swapped for an equipment that is not another aspect.

Recreation

We used the glitch to equip about 1k 57 Leaf Clovers so I could try and replicate it in the same game.

So when I as Railgunner tried to pick up an aspect in the same game, the glitch happened to me as well once we went to the next stage. However I did not lose the ability to use my abilities like they did.


We have yet to replicate this bug in other playthroughs, as the aspects are still quite rare to encounter. We did have the new legendary item equipped, that
lets elites and big enemies drop items , but we were not sure on the impact of this item on that variable.

I was unfortunately not recording the game in it's entirety, but I did get some clips of a couple shenanigans during the effects of the bug.

Yeah I encountered this too after getting the new gilded aspect. Picked up 1300 ukuleles.
