I got knocked off a ledge only to respawn on a tiny rock below and was completely stuck there as Engineer because he has zero vertical movement so I couldn't get back up there. Literally had to suicide.

Platforming simply must not be designed to require certain skills (unless every character has what's required) or items. Until now, this wasn't really to case anywhere or at least not to a degree that literally means game over.
