Exploit: Item farming without time passage in bulwark ambry [spoilers]
Any run can farm items endlessly in bulwark ambry as soon as you reach sky meadows by entering the code for the Sacrifice artifact. Since time doesn't pass as long as you can survive the first 5-10 minutes you'll basically become invincible. The difficulty never increases in bulwark ambry, but the player will keep picking up items and getting stronger the longer it goes, as well as gaining levels. If a recycler equipment drops you get to pick your items too, which means no red whips or energy drinks if you get to be too fast, no wake of vultures or happiest mask.

To fix this I'd suggest enabling the passage of time as normal inside bulwark ambry just for the Sacrifice artifact encounter. I think it's normally balanced to be able to farm XP since that's possible on other artifacts and guilded coast, so XP gain should be doubled to compensate for the enabling of time for this artifact's encounter.

This is a bit of a late response to this post, but. I honestly wouldn't call that an exploit. Sacrifice is designed for that exact purpose - sure, no time passage makes the game easy, but the rate at which you can farm items far exceeds the difficulty curve of the game even if you just have it enabled without going to a timeless zone.

In addition there are at least one or two levels that also have no time passage so you could farm indefinitely with the artifact enabled there too.

Past that, this game doesn't have leaderboards outside of the Prismatic Trials - which only count fastest time anyway, so farming doesn't affect it. So I'd say, it is entirely up to the player if they want to take advantage of loopholes like that. If you join a multiplayer lobby, just ask that others don't use it, and maybe warn that if they do, you'll just push completion of the artifact trial to avoid it.

But honestly, I say don't worry about it. Scaling out of control is kinda the charm of games like this, after all.
