Recycler doesnt work

I am playing Huntress with 2 friends and found Recycler for the first time, But when i run to an item on the ground and use Recycler nothing happens. Recycler goes on cooldowna dn the item doesnt change at all.

Are the items you're trying to recycle found by your friends? I haven't done multiplayer on the update yet but maybe it has something to do with it since it worked for me on solo.

I'm pretty sure a recycled item will be crossed out when in range of the recycler but nevertheless, are you trying to recycle an item twice?

They were items that I bought. It must have just been a random bug because we went 3 floors further and i found another recycler and it worked fine.

This happened to me once (out of maybe 4 times I activated the item). My best guess is my crosshair was over the chest the item came from rather than the item, and the equipment failed to target it despite the fancy targeting overlay.

The targeting is a bit buggy for sure, but just make sure you get the "Q" target to pop up before using and it hasn't failed me once.
