I activated 4 in a previous run. So that'd be a total of 5.

Same here, Activated after 2 turrets today, and it was the 4th/5th overall after the update if I'm not mistaken. In any case, isn't it supposed to be 6 turrets in the same run ?

I think it is. That's how I understood it as well. I did get it on my 6th turret, but I hadn't activated any turrets in any previous runs since the update.

I think the achievement is bugged and counts turrets across multiples runs. I'm just wondering how you both got it earlier than 6 total turrets.
