Game starts but nothing works

Hey there,

the game starts just fine but it wont do anything in the main menu. Sometimes I can click on single player and the menu disapears and thats it. Sometimes I can't do anything at all?
Any suggestions?

Having the same issue here with all the menus looking weird and single player not working. most of the buttons on the main menu dont work (including the exit game one), is your sound not working too?

I have the exact same problem. I can't start a multiplayer game either

Mine looks exactly like this I can't do anything

Same on the menu. I can get into the settings and make adjustments, but the settings have the same look (ie. "TITLE_SETTING" and such). Single player doesn't work. I can click on title_multiplayer and get to the multiplayer menu, but nothing in that menu works. Exit button doesn't work either, so have to alt-f4 to close the game.

Went to go take a screenshot of the options to add here, discovered the single player button can now be clicked, but it just makes the menu vanish and I had to kill the process again.

Same here. I didn't even know this was in the works until I couple days ago. Equally excited to play, and disappointed to have this issue. I tried a workaround someone linked from reddit, in the sticky, related to replacing the user profile. Didn't work for me.

Until then, I might have to play some of the original.

Yeah having the same exact issue here myself. Tried reinstalling a few times and verifying files each time, which always turns up one missing file, but the problem persists.
Really hoping for some kind of fix for this because I really want to play with a friend.

Yeah this has happened to me, if this isn't the main thread for this bug then it should be.

I found that uninstalling the Video C++ 2015 x64 and x86 or whatever, restarting my PC, reinstalling both versions, then restarting again, fixed my title menu issues. It's a little convoluted but I hope it helps someone else

i just bought this game an hour ago, and i have the exact same problem... is this fixed yet??
i can do nothing but just tyring to select anything but all of those didnt work any at all.. this is terrible...

I'm not exactly sure what solved it for me, as I was getting to the point of giving up and just fiddling with random crap. It was also a good while back. I think it may have had something to do with cloud saving. Try messing with cloud save options for the game.
