that popup only showed up when i clicked multiplayer, because the multiplayer runs through it.
Secondly, there werent terms, it was a popup telling you you cant play multiplayer without crossplay enabled because again, thats what it runs through.
So you didnt read, and your lying.
Finally, its been like that since I started playing, which was around four years or better ago... and therefor was a thing when you played LESS than a year ago.
and thirdly... the popup was about thirty words... if you cant read "you cant play multiplayer" in less than half an hour, frankly you should probably not be on the internet.
I played single player for a while but made the mistake of clicking on multiplayer today, then it booted me back to the screen where I have to connect an Epic Games account. I have one on standby which I thought I had already signed in with, but now the screen it takes me to is for creating a new account, saying my Steam is already connected.
When I click singleplayer it forces the bug, sending me to the menu. Essentially i'm stuck in a perpetual loop and cannot play the game at all now, thanks to Epic Trash. This 12 year old who made the first reply defending them is way out of his depth.
Sadly I think its just time to uninstall, which sucks because I was actually enjoying this game.
