Challenge run...poll/question/insight seeking.

Thinking of either no items or boss rewards only...Im thinking boss rewards only because no items sounds too bland and it would be more interesting.

Ive done a few no item runs on Acrid. Its hard but doable. Boss rewards only would definitely be more fun in my opinion. ive done that less, but enough to say i liked it more. The fewest items ive been able to take down Mithrix with was like 3 i think (one of them being a vase to skip pillars)

oh duh im blind apparently, my b. Yeah I think thats fair, hes more annoying than a boss so I think thats fair game. I hate fighting Mithrix as Loader honestly. Nothing fun to swing around until later phases. i get too impatient

Fully complete void fields in a run/fight Voidling after Mithrix/do pillars instead of skipping them/use dumb or bad strategies like blight Acrid/use lunar items you find bad, or aren't good on the character you are playing (Strides of Heresy on Loader)/use artifacts that make the game harder/use mods like Umbral Mithrix.

making blight Acrid not a worseless piece of trash was my life mission when that ability came out lol. I did also use Loader with all heretic items except the Essence to make Ranged Loader. Can attest that these are very good and fun ideas

Blight Acrid isn't completely bad per se, its just that you're really going to be feeling it now Mr. Krabs vs flying enemies (especially Xi Construct) if you don't have a damage equipment or Shuriken.

speed is all you need! i joke but with enough practice you can hit and bite everything out of the air no problemo. XI constructs running away from you is the devil though, a genuinely poorly designed enemy. Blight Acrids biggest problem is that Poison is almost always better in like 90% of scenarios. it having a minimum damage threshold on the character with the highest base damage is wild. Poison Acrid is best boy for real
