Roadmap? LMAO
This is just pathetic. They gave us a broken dlc and bailed for several months without doing anything. I thought they were just working hard and were intending to fix everything in one big update which is why it took so long. But no - we got some stupid roadmap without them even fixing a thing. A ROADMAP. FOR FIXING THE GAME. Do they even know that their stupid dlc's final boss is near unbeatable without looping? That the gold elites break the director so hard you might as well give up if you get meh items in the first 3 stages? Not even talking about multiplayer here since that is just unplayable because of elite spawns now. They said that the updates will be expansive since there's so much to fix so it will take several MORE months. Yeah how about you shove it up your ass with those updates. Make a game functional from the start next time. ♥♥♥♥ gearbox. I don't even care anymore.

The DLC was broken at launch, but they immediately fixed all of the major issues, so no, they didn't bail for several months.

The team has still been working hard, and they have been taking a while working on the updates. The roadmap is not for fixing the game, it's for reworking most of the DLC features... and yes, they know all of those issues and they're going to be addressed.

They already fixed the elite spawns. They didn't say it will take seven months for the roadmap updates to come out, they just said a few months, which isn't that long.

Gearbox is elbow deep in your game and you are going to like it, mister.

Just cross your fingers they don't start giving the survivors they/them pronouns and then say the robot/acrid is gay or something.

That is the worst case scenario, if DEI ever touched this game It would be time to bail.

I think in the state it came in, we all would of appreciated if they actually play tested, communicated(since the team taking over likely doesn't know item effects too much in ror) and took their time on it.

When nintendo made the switch Metroid game they put out an announcement that they weren't happy with how it was going and were scrapping it and starting from fresh, look at that game. It came out literally perfect.

You telling me gearbox can't handle a simple dlc add on to a game but nintendo can scrap and perfect a game?(to be fair they had to, if they ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up metroid people wouldn't let them forget it)

at this point i would be glad that the modding community take the whole game over more than letting garbox do as they please with this

It's very pathetic. A game this old does not need a damn roadmap. Just let everyone know you released the fixes. It's the most basic expectation we have.

Except most of the modding community ditched the game since gbx ♥♥♥♥♥♥ the code base so hard

I remember it was a big issue when the dlc dropped. Ever since the big patch they did to fix the game that could have changed

Mods always break with updates. It happens with every update. It happens with almost every game too, not just RoR2. Unless the game devs go out of their way to have their own modding API, then mod devs will need to catch up, and sometimes still do even with an API. Mod devs won't always jump to make their mods up-to-date the instant an update comes out for many reasons. They have work, they have school, they have a life, they got bored of the game, they hate Gearbox, they hate Take-Two, etc. and thus haven't updated their mod. In at least one case (BetterUI) the dev purposefully nuked their mod because people told them to stop putting a donate button on the main menu.
