Do dlcs work with other people?

im about to tell my friends to buy it and i want to play with them all the game i own all the dlcs already but idk if the new dlcs also work as the void one that let other players that join to your session to play with the dlc but no with the characters just with the new maps and content, cause if it doesnt work like that it will be horrible i dont want them to lose money

If anybody in the lobby has the DLC, everybody can access it. This does not include survivors, but does affect stages, enemies, and items.

It works the same, yes. There's a toggle in the lobby. If it's on, it's on.
