Hell yeah. Thanks Todd Howard
Hopefully this one will be complete and well thought out.

I mean its Gearbox so theyve likely had a team working on this since SotS dropped, while another team has been doing the reworks. Its not like theres one team that does everything like when Hopoo was doing things. Not that that means its necessarily going to be any good, we saw what they did with SotS on release, but I can at least assume theyve been working on it for a bout a year now

That's just worse. So another team was working on this DLC. They probably witnessed the absolute dumpsterfire that SoTS was. It's safe to assume they're working under the same conditions SoTS devs were working with.

So we have another dev team being crunched and crushed under strict deadlines for another rushed DLC, we already have a whole ass trailer for it and it hasn't even been a year since the release of their last DLC that cost them a lot for having rushed it. Doesn't look good to me.

Another dev team working on another DLC also means gearbox had he audacity to rush out a DLC while the previous one was in need of fixing to repay the people who bought it day 1 and were waiting for the product they've already paid for to be delivered to them.

SoTS could've been fixed much earlier if they allocated all their resources on it but instead it took a whole 9 months because gearbox wants another cash grab rushed DLC to fill their pocket. Yikes.

Let's hope it turns out fine though.

that's just disappointing

Cautiously optimistic. I want to give the team the benefit of doubt.
SoTS was rough on launch-- very rough, and I'm hoping the team manages to get more QA done in time for Alloyed Collective's launch. There's likely a lot of overhead micromanagement pushing them to 'get this thing out ASAP' knowing Gearbox. All we can do is wait and hope.

That being said, I'm always happy to see more content for Risk of Rain 2, I was a day one purchaser and enjoyer of SoTS, and I will likely be a day one purchaser of Alloyed Collective. At the minimum, we'll (likely? hopefully?) have more banger tracks by Chris Christodoulou.
1 of the new survivors is a returning one as they say. The only ones in Risk 1 that aren't in Risk 2 are Sniper, Enforcer, Miner and Han-D.

Considering we already have "replacements" for sniper and Han-D it's either enforcer or miner that's returning. Enforcer's gimmick wouldn't work well in a 3D environment so we're most likely getting miner back. Which is huge news for me at least... if they make a good DLC this time.

Edit: They could also include Risk Returns survivors so Pilot and Drifter are also possibilities and in that case I'd say the returning survivor would probably be the pilot.

6 new stages is a good bit, and tbh item bloat is a legit thing to be worried about, I am ok if they dont add too many new items as long as the ones they add are fun or usable. seems about standard for the other DLCs, thought those were frought with their own issues. Either way, people would be mad even if Gearbox added 20 stages, 5 survivors, and 60 items so I will wait to pass my (inevitably negative) judgement until it comes out

Do we know if Chris is doing the music for this one as well? SotS was ass on launch but at least we got the sickest game ost ever.
