Controller support

Latest update broke all controller support for me, even after rebinding i cannot move. Any tips to fix this?

Just wanted to add another voice here that, even after rebinding all my other buttons (which resets every time I reload the game), I still cannot move in the game itself. Navigating menus appears to be perfectly fine, however.

Same thing happening here, nothing in-game or on steam seems to help it.
Starting the think that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ doesn't have anyone testing their updates before launch.

Also having this issue with Steam Controller. Have tried: Restarting game, reinstalling game, cannot map controller to keystrokes, using controller as keyboard/mouse. Input not mapped shows for everything in-game if anything. Works fine in lobby/main menu, immediately stops working as soon as match is started.
Adding for added visibility. Help would be fantastic, this is one of the few games I enjoy using steam controller on.

Had the same issue as y'all, but I managed to fix it.
Right click on Risk of Rain 2 in your library, go to properties, go to controller, for 'override for Risk of Rain 2' select 'disable steam input'. For the new setting to work you will have to restart the game. This got got my controller working and I hope this helps.

I'm glad that worked for you, and hopefully it helped some other folks in this thread, but it unfortunately did not work for me. Starting the game in this manner just made me unable to do anything at all. I suspect this is because the controller I've been using to play this game is indeed a controller that utilizes Steam input to re-map its face buttons. (A Nintendo Switch pro controller, to be precise.)

I cant figure it out either it will not let me even rebind the controls. The controller will work in the menu but not in game
