also, i wonder if shrine of order would change the pearls to the same one... imagine 280% everything if it does.
That's bad luck. Irradiant pearls used to be 4% but now it's 20%. With average luck that should be a 60% bonus everything+220% bonus health.
For a less intrusive method of getting pearls you could get Eulogy Zero and go to Aphelian Sanctuary.
I mean, if you're surrounded by 20+ bombs that do 360% and respawn almost instantly (it's tied to not attacking, and speeds up with attack speed. Not like attack speed matters much when the items will be converted anyways, but a multiplayer ally with Gorag's Opus could crank up your output) suddenly the damage isn't low anymore.
It's main use is when your run is RNG screwed and killing things is simply taking too long. Imagine Commando without Bleed, Crit, etc, on higher stages (true story: this is what happened to me on my attempt at the Incorruptible achievement. Only finally got Shatterspleen and a pair of glasses on like Stage 18, and finally things could die without being Primordial Cubed off a cliff.) Egocentrism's use is to go "You always have an option to salvage this and actually make it to the end, but it's not going to be preferable to a good run." Kind of like how the Stone Flux Pauldron's main use is "I'm uncontrollably fast, I need to slow down."
Same lmao
No it doesn't, and it doesn't absord empty flasks and broken watches either. The point of the Tonic is to offset the absence of defensive/regen/mobility items during tricky fights. I don't have the numbers, so I might be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the Tonic also buffs the damage of the Ego bombs.
