Tips for simulacrum?

Tryna unlock Void fiend. Got artifact of command. What items do I prioritize? Tips for survivability? Currently in a run, huntress is what I’m going for.

Get sacrifice, and disable command
Metamorphosis should make whole run less boring
The only downside of using metamorphosis is mercenary cringemain

command can be hard in simulacrum because you have to be really quick on choosing items, especially when the zone moves. But ideally you just want to build a classic proc, speed, build. get movement from soda, get harvester scythe and predatory instincts for attack speed and healing as well as the crit glasses to sustain it, and then missile launchers, trip tip daggers. those will be some of your best bets. Setting Command Artifact aside, your best bet of survival in simulacrum is to be patient, the difficulty doesnt scale off of time so you can take as long as you need to get the job done. And there is always the classic "never stop moving" advice, as well as (in case you didnt know) you can sweep your cross hair across an enemy to get Huntress' autoaim to shoot them so that you dont have to be looking at them to fire. This allows you to shoot enemies behind or to the sides of you while still maintaining your sprint

if you're doing command go for 9 crit glasses, scythe and pred instincts, and stack teddy bears. Topaz broach can be good for some temp hp as well. also some goat hoofs to avoid being hit

I beat it easily using Engineer and bungus strat, you're pretty much forced into one place so might as well.

you should try again without command. Simulacrum is a lot of fun (its what me and my friends play mostly instead of classic). But Command takes the randomness and the goofyness out of every run. I can totally see why you wouldnt want to do what you did again because who wants to try and work to make the exact same build??? that sounds boring and tedious. But if you just go and do some simulacrum runs for fun then theres a good chance youll eventually get to 50!

Beat it this morning. I do have in mind doing it with other survivors to test em out and without command.
