Artificer Skin Didn't Unlock

I beat the game with her and while I did unlock the captain her alternative color palette didn't unlock, did I misinterpret the unlock condition?

It says beat the game or obliterate on Monsoon. Key word is on Monsoon.

Oh, so the or isn't presenting it as two separate options rather the one unifying thing has to be monsoon, but how you go about unlocking it can be done with either or, okay thanks for clearing that up.

Another way to word it is "You have to beat the game on monsoon or obliterate yourself on monsoon". Either way you still have to play on monsoon to unlock skins whether you beat the game or obliterate.

Well I did escape the moon, hence how I unlocked the captain, either way I'll just obliterate at the obelisk and hope that does it this time around.

If it were phrased "beat the game, or obliterate on monsoon", you would've been fine. The lack of a comma in the actual phrasing tells us either one must be done on monsoon.
