ShareSuite question
I'll be trying this out tonight as I play with a friend who's getting into the game but is struggling with pickups and knowing what items do. If I use Thunderstore mod manager with a profile with only ShareSuite and the pre-reqs... does he need anything? Will the mod just run server-side and there's nothing for him to do like installing BepInEx or R2API?

Anyone have experience with 2 player co-op and this mod? Also, does it still work with the new update?

have him download r2modman and export/import your profile
Idk if you both need it or not (im guessing not) but as a rule of thumb you should always have the same mods with the same settings whenever possible.

I don't think that mod needs him to have it installed, I've had lobbies where that mod was active and I was playing vanilla. One way you can test if your mods are compatible with multiplayer without the player needing them is starting your game modded, going to mp and trying to join a lobby. The game will tell you if there are incompatible mods. There are mods that are "host only" or "server sided" meaning only you need them for it to work. Some mods that are compatible with this include Pillar Revive,Drop In Multiplayer,Item Drop, etc.

Any mods that add new content, characters, stages, etc will always require everyone in the lobby to have them downloaded. Any "Client" sided mods Ex) Custom Soundtracks,Looking Glass,ChestsBeGone,Autosprint, character skins(in most cases) can almost always be used in any lobby since it changes things per player and not for everyone

The ShareSuite will apply tto other players when the mod user is hosting.
Nothing required for your friend.
