Couch Co-op on PC - How ?

Just bought for the couch-coop feature... How do I activate this ability on PC? Looked through all the settings and can't find it. 2x Xbox controllers hooked up interfere with one another. Anyone know how to get it working ?

FYI: I already have the base game. The new DLC advertised that it would add Couch Co-op

I guess 'cause couch co-op is harder with a PC (like space-wise, not programming), and most people don't have their PC hooked up to a TV to make it worth?

With the Steam Deck, plenty of people are now simply using it as a dock connected to their TV. They'll also use it to stream from their main PC to play games on the larger TV.

Plenty of games have couch co-op for PC. I just bought Barony and it's got 3 different settings for it.

I think there's a mod for split screen co-op. It's only an xbox/ps5 feature for the base game I think

From what I hear, you probably shouldn't even bother trying couch co-op on consoles, since there's a chance of it just completely wiping your data

The couch-coop code is available in the base PC game and can be activated via a console command - doesn't require a mod.

Only problem is that the second player is stuck with the default survivor.

Why this wasn't simply added to a menu option so it can be properly used, I have no idea.

No, because that was years ago. I can confirm that it works since I played it with a friend, but your ability to google it is as good as mine.
