Risk of Rain 2 modded wont load.
The game load get stuck at x% and never completes the loading, its probably because of the recent update so some of the mods might be broken, but i would like to know if is just me, if anyone got to open the game with mods after this update maybe is just an specific mod that is broken, any clues?

i disabled mods that were labeled as deprecated and instead of being stuck at 10%, its now stuck at 99%

Its going to be a while till modded runs make a return, gearbox need to repair the damage they did with the patch or modders need to catch up.

Its a waiting game for whatever one happens.

Mods aren't automatically marked as deprecated after updates. You'll need to disable more than just the deprecated ones to find the one(s) causing trouble.

That entirely depends on what mods you use. I was able to do modded runs the day after the patch (maybe sooner but I didn't play before that) because the mods I use are either simple QoL mods or have active devs (or both). More complex mods will take longer, even more if the dev is in school (which started back up in a lot of places recently). Some mods may never work again if the dev got tired of RoR after over a year of nothing new or is boycotting Gearbox.

Modders will always need to catch up because of how mods modify the game. Every update will require mod devs to at minimum check if their stuff still works or make changes to be compatible. This was true pre-Gearbox and has been true for tons of other games with mods.

If Devs breaks mods why modders still help them

This happens with Risk of Rain, Sims, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, so on and so forth whenever updates happen. The game developers (usually) do not make changes purely to make modders' life harder and the issues are almost entirely because of how mods change the game.

Some mods work by modifying particular areas of code or weaseling their code in along side other code. When updates happen, those areas of code may be different or moved. Some mods use an API which deals with that issue for them, but the functions they use may have been changed in some way that they need to work around.

Mods aren't working because the console code was ported to PC, so the basis for most mods were completely changed. Like others have said, it wasn't a deliberate decision to remove mods from the game, but a consequence of the decisions behind the update.

Even if the code base was not changed, mods would have likely still been broken due to other changes made. This type of thing typically happens with every update.

Most mods work now. Make sure you update all mods. If you're somewhat technically savvy, you could try opening your bepinex logs and looking for an error (there's a link to the log folder in the "Settings" in R2Modman).
