You do not have to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ - if you don't want to help, you can easily ignore my question and go about your day.
Spent twenty minutes running around what seemed like a very small area, only to find the teleporter accidentally by the end in a place that looked like any other.
Then, I was killed by a boss that I knew would appear.
Is there some sort of method for looking for a teleporter? How is this even supposed to work?
The orange particles you describe were barely visible even when the teleporter itself was within my field of vision.
(and then, again, a boss fight. I don't get why every game developer thinks they are necessary)
don't play the game.. it's obviously too much for you to handle.
try sticking to something that holds your hand through the entire game, or better yet... plays itself.
spawn
fight for money
use money to buy chests
loot everything then go to the teleporter
fight the teleporter boss
get to the next stage
repeat until you die or get to the final boss
it is alot more than that, thats the basic objective. now go kill 'em
There should be a setting that makes the particles more visible at a distance. I believe it is under "Umbrella features" on the first settings tab.
The main gameplay loop is to kill enemies to get gold to open chests to get items to kill enemies more. Once you've done enough on a stage you then aim for the teleporter and clear the boss to go to the next stage. Once there, commence killing enemies to get gold to... so on and so forth.
After a few stages you'll be able to go to the final stage, where you fight the final boss to reach the credits. Once done, you do it over again.
Alternatively you can not do the final stage and instead loop, allowing you to garner more items. Eventually you'll have so many items that looking in an enemy's general direction clears the stage.
