Heretic Survivor Log?

I was playing with Rex yesterday, got all 4 Heresy items and turned into the Heretic, then I kept playing until I hit stage 8 and then obliterated, but I still don't have the survivor log for the Heretic. Am I gonna need to do this again?

You need to defeat Mithrix and escape the moon as Heretic to unlock the log

Yup as stated, logs only come from beating the game, if the credits don't roll, you haven't beaten the game, just ended it in a positive fashion.

I have unlocked many survivor logs from just obliterating though...

this one isnt like the normal characters its a special unlock hence different method though i agree a bit annoying (when i mean annoying not hard to get just that its different )
