Anyways, I'd rather have both. I'd love to see how they'd recreate the original Risk of Rain cast to play on Risk of Rain 2, like the Miner, the Chef, and the Enforcer (i mean, come on, don't tell me the enforcer wouldn't be a blast to play here).
I'm all up for new characters but some of these are feeling quite uninspired to me.
the real question is why not. magic has been a thing since the original Risk of Rain.
Seeker seems like a bit of a mishmash but maybe their passive adds a lot of fun to them in weird alternate skills or something. Otherwise I'll probably mainly play them in group matches to help my friends who tend to fall behind. ROR1 Chef's kit was kind of bogus and the character itself is a little bit 'epic bacon' so I hope they put an interesting twist on things. Like maybe they've fallen apart from being left behind on the planet to the point where they're some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up meat-harvesting boogeyman lemurians tell each other ghost stories about. Otherwise I would've kinda preferred anyone else from ROR1/Returns get an official release. Just my opinion though.
the survivors themselves are all technology or biology based
though i guess gearbox's other lovechild 「V??oid Fiend』 also has magical powers.
>lore
lol.
>I'd rather see new characters over old ones
I know what to expect with an old character, I don't know what to expect with a new character when queerbox is the one designing them.
heehoo
