Question relating to Halcyon shrine

Does it only spawn on stage 1, or is it random when it spawns. Also can it spawn again if you leave it.

And does anybody know how often it spawns? (It seems in my first 2 runs I had one; but never after)

It doesn't spawn again if you don't take the green portal. Seems like it only spawns stage 1 from the runs I've played

you can sidegrade into the green portal loop though by purchasing the next stage at the bazaar. you can even go to the last stage of the path without ever visiting the others, just going through normal stages.

it looks like it spawns randomly to me, I've had it spawn on stage 1, 3 and 11 so far.
and also like the previous person said, you can dream to go there in the bazaar to skip the whole shrine process.

It can appear on any stage except Sky Meadow and yes it does come back if you go through the green portal and then don't go through a second. You just have to keep looping. I entered it stage 1, left it and then it came back stage 13.

I dont fckin know anymore, i did like 5 runs and it doesnt spawn where it's supposed to. Sure it does often spawn on the 1st stage, but when it has to spawn on the tree sth stage, it just doesnt. I've been trying to unlock the false son for 2 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hours, and i do make it to the primie meridian often, but the shrine is MEANT to spawn on the stage tree colony. And it doesnt. Why? I dont ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ know

You don’t need to hit the shrine beyond the first stage, just use the teleporter and a green portal will appear to take you to the next stage, since I posted this 3 months ago I have beat the false son multiple times and it is still a hard fight but it’s supposed to be.

It always spawns on stage ones, (stage 1, 6, 11, ect.) Otherwise it's random.

From my experience,
stage 1 (new dlc maps only) nearly guaranteed
otherwise stage 1 (including loops) at a very low rng
otherwise go fight the gold titan - iirc you need to do it 2 or 3 times for a green portal to appear.
I haven't seen it spawn anywhere else.

The dlc is great in regards it gives you the path to the boss stage 1....... but you generelly want to get items before that and well more items then two stages worth of items I mean, as the natural path to the boss is 2 stages then boss area.

Getting the new dlc start 90% of the time is honestly annoying, we get it you want us to see the maps you made, problem is I don't care. its not RNG If I know the stage I'll be opening with.

You're mistaken, you need the halcyon shrine to spawn AFTER going through it on the first stage to be able to spawn a golden portal to be able to unlock the false son character. For some reason after the first 3 playthroughs the halcyon shrine is not spawning in the dlc area thus locking out the ability to get the necessary item before fighting the false son boss.

No it should be able to spawn on stage 2 as well (I got one on stage 3 too). Every loop will also redo a statue, so going back to the 1st stage in a loop you'll get another chance to do shrine
