Lost All Progress After New DLC/Update, but Still Have My Achievements - Anyone Else?

Hey everyone :D

After the recent DLC/update that just dropped for Risk of Rain 2, I logged in to find that all my progress has been wiped, I've lost all my unlocked characters, items, and everything else that I have worked to Unlock. The weird thing is, I still have all my achievements, which makes this even more confusing.

I've tried the usual steps like uninstalling and reinstalling the game, but nothing seems to restore my progress.

Has anyone else experienced this issue with the latest update and DLC drop?, if so, did you find any way to recover your progress, or am I stuck starting from scratch? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

make sure you're on the right account, same thing happened to me I just needed to switch to a different save file

i got the same issue a few days ago, before dlc drop: my main profile was corrupted.

as far as i know there is no way to recover it.
BUT, you can use this guide to get your stuff back through cheats:

there might be a way to recover ALL of your items, character and character skills unlocks.
first of all, make a new profile in-game, and check if any profiles have a red name (aka corrupted profile). Memorize the code to identify it when you're about to edit the profile.
if you follow the guide i gave you, you'll stumble upon your game profiles, which you can edit.
one of them might be your corrupted profile.
in my case, i found that a large amount of data was missing in my file, but i still had my achivements (which unlock the characters, items and charcter's skills) and Indexes for items i had used.
in the guide you'll find a way to edit the unlocked achivements, just copy and paste the achivements from your corrupted profile into your new, uncorrupted profile.
Same thing with item indexes.
