I don't get the Seeker hate?
I mean as i expected they are very fun to play, not meta but very fun. i don't get the hate she got because ShE iS nOt MeTa Or ViAbLe. how about you enjoy things? :Kasumi_Heart:

Only thing I can say is maybe increasing her overall damage a smidge because it does feel a bit low.

Otherwise, she's still absolutely fun and has a good chunk of self sustain.

I just tried a run with her, feels like im hitting enemies with a wet rag, just to then get 1-shot from full by a gilded elder lemurian
she may be really good in co-op tho

Just need the right items, in terms of her basic attack If I don't find enough attack speed I just swap it out for the lunar auto attack item, it makes your attack many tiny wet rags but at least its marginally more effective to use.
People hate Seeker? I barely played her so far but she's fun as hell. Her ability descriptions could use some work because some things aren't very well explained (like how her passive stacks and how her alt M2 balls work precisely) but otherwise she's surprinsingly great to play
People hated seeker because she was something new, they judged a book by it's cover and all had the same argument as "gearbox bad, revive too op" and then immidietly shut up the minute the DLC is balanced because the developers aren't stupid and had the same damn idea.

Seeker is fairly balanced other then their alt secondary giving basically infinite barrier as long as you spam them and stay melee. One purity and secondary reset/max increase items only extend the power of this skill exponentially.

Shift is free with enough healing boost and Especially Wungus, I'd go as far to say wungus is mandatory on seeker just to make the travel ability somewhat safe to use, got lucky and found it first stage and it removed 20% of the damage the travel did per second.

Their aoe ult is annoying to have to DDR every time, hoping for a mod or alt.
However the revive part is fairly balanced, can only revive the squad once per stage so if you squander your second chance RIP.

Theres also a few other revive mechanics in the DLC as well. This is a major boost to non modded gameplay. Which, i mean, is great for consoles, and im happy and excited for mods to adapt them in, but ive got a 300 mod modpack waiting for update and it is going to be glorious with all these new things.

Tbf, they likely did play modded RoR2 and took some level of inspiration from mods, especially since a few mods have essentially been baked into the game itself (perma TP ping, revive shrine)
Seeker feels bad to play, just isnt very fun.
I have no problem with the healing but the revive thing makes it to where every game must have Seeker in it now. That in itself is annoying.
they are agonizing to play solo but the utility provided while with other players is fun.

thats just not true. the revive is nice but definitely not nessecary. i

From what I've heard each stack of tranquility gives you exactly +1% to every stat. So at 7 stacks it's like a free, weaker irradiant pearl.

only the exact seventh successful meditate revives. any of the ones before or after do not revive
The biggest problem I have is that she seems to struggle with basic mobs if you're playing solo, monsoon. Most characters can kill the starting mobs, but if a large enemy spawns at the start and you didn't get anything that increases damage, you wont even kill a wisp in one shot with the incredibly slow 1st-2nd M1 let alone the kill time needed for the golems or bison.

I get she's supposed to be a support, but a character that can't stand by itself without having items, that anyone could use better, just feels bad. She's probably fine with coop but how about those who don't play coop? Her meditate then, especially, feels terrible because it just begins to feel like standing in front of a firing squad with your pecker in your hands, let alone the somewhat hard to interpret arrows for the mini-game. Unlike Helldivers, I have to look at it every single time and can't just speedrun it with memory, which again, feels bad. If the meditate worked on drones or something that gave it more versatility when you're solo then I think it'd feel better, but the way it currently is makes it underwhelming for the threat it gives you and then makes it feel like you can't actually use it late game when the enemy WILL one shot you. If it just made you invulnerable during it, it would still be fine and actually strong, because it's supposed to feel like the character's strongest move.

I don't know, maybe if it did give you invulnerable, it's up to a certain amount of hits or something? Like you ignore the next 5 hits or something, just anything that makes it feel like I'm not about to be obliterated for using it even in moderate cover.
