Simulacrum Tips
Trying to reach wave 50 for me and some friends and looking for some good tips or builds.

Playing with both Item on drop and Choose Item Artifacts to make it a little easier, any items I should prioritize/character that's the best for this?

Engineer is probably the easiest if you have command on. Get lots of bustling fungus to allow the standard turrets to create a massive heal zone that will make you all but invulnerable, as well as soldiers syringes. For greens, ATG missile launchers, and a hopoo feather and wax quail or two for mobility (since your turrets are healing you so much you wont need to dodge too many attacks, but youre not invincible and need a lot of bustling fungus to get there, so even just 1 hopoo and 1 quail can save your life so many times). Shuriken and Bands are very strong too. For reds, Aegis alongside the bustling fungus will allow you to face tank just about everything. 57 leaf clover will make your ATGs really dangerous, and anything else like stickybombs. Tesla Coil gives you great area damage. ICBM, especially with Clover, can allow your ATGs to clear the entire map.

The only thing you really need to watch out for is fall damage and other map hazards as Engineer has limited mobility and you dont want to get stuck in the void. As well as the Moon stage, since the tiny chimeras leave flame areas on the ground that will wipe your Turrets out unless you have enough bustling fungus to outheal it. This was all just off the top of my head, hope any of it helps. Good luck!

As for items, I've found that anything to improve character mobility is hugely useful, goat hoof and soda for move speed, even a single hopoo feather for double jump can improve your survival, getting hit less is always better, on that note tougher times/safer times can be quite clutch but don't stack it too hard. Transfusion might seem attractive but generally enemies hit pretty hard and an extra 100 hp doesn't make anywhere near as much difference as mitigating or avoiding the hit all together.

Damage is always key, the faster you can kill your enemies the better you will do over all, crowbars are always good on any character with slow singular attacks like mul-t rebar, for more rapid attack characters I've had decent success with plasma shrimp, even a couple shrimp will almost double your damage per second providing you can keep shields up, if you can get pocket i.c.b.m it becomes even stronger. Getting some lens makers glasses can be a big help too, either for the critical hits or the corrupted chance to instantly kill, a single old guillotine to help finish elites quicker is useful too.

Anything that chains to other enemies can be very useful with rapid fire or multi hit characters, but on slower ones items like ukulele don't proc often enough.

I'm sure others will chime in some ideas too!
