Do NOT Do the Tower Skip In Multiplayer If You Can't ALL Do It!

For some stupid reason, possibly on purpose, the devs have made it so if one person does the skip in multiplayer... that one person gets stuck in the arena, the boss does not trigger, and they leave all their friends to have to finish the pillars all by themselves.
If you can't all do the skip, don't do it.

It probably shouldn't trap you in the arena if the boss isn't going to trigger but whatever.

The boss fight will never start until all players are present inside the arena. So it doesnt matter if one person skips or not, everyone has to in order for it to work, its not Loader specific.

Pretty sure that's exactly what OP is saying, and is suggesting to players to not do it if not everyone can do it. Otherwise they can't assist their teammates in doing the pillars.

In addition this can break the game even when not trying to skip. I did find that out the hard way when we got a random disconnect right before the Mithrix fight. The problematic netcode DC’d a friend shortly after starting the Moon stage and when I finally made it up to Mithrix the game softlocked as result.

Pretty sure that's exactly what OP is saying, and is suggesting to players to not do it if not everyone can do it. Otherwise they can't assist their teammates in doing the pillars.
