How to end a loop and fight Mithrix?
Me and my friend kept looping in a god run with the idea that it is infinite and we can't do anything about it, but I remember seeing multiple videos of players going over a loop and then finally ending it with beating Mithrix. So how the hell do we go outside a loop once we're in a loop???

on Sky Meadows, every 5th stage, if the teleporter is aligned with the moon, it will take you to the "end" of a run. If its aligned with the planet, thats how you keep looping. Each time you interact with the tines on the outside of the teleporter it will change what its set to. Just dont mess with it at all and you should go right there (dont take any portals either)
Portals like... the big red portal to get artifacts? Also counting the Lunar coins shop portal?

So we're supposed to just stick with everything "normal" so that we DONT loop?
only at Sky Meadows when you decide to finally stop looping. Otherwise any portal you take, including the artifact portal and the one that takes you to the lunar coins shop, will automatically loop you. You can use them as much as you want in the meantime, but if you want to actually go to the moon to end a run, you have to use the teleporter itself when its aligned to the moon at Sky Meadows when you no longer want to loop. Does that make sense? I might not have explained it well

once you get to sky meadow (stage 5 map, mostly purple, where the big yellow enemies -grandparents- spawn), find the teleporter (you will notice it has a different design than all other teleporters) and make sure its "prongs" are making a circle around the center. if it is not, interact with the prongs (not with the center of the tp, that would activate it) to "shift destination". a message will appear stating that "the primordial teleporter aligns with the moon", that's what you want. if the prongs are not making a circle it will instead say "the primordial teleporter aligns with the planet", that means looping.
Tl;dr:
*a circle and aligned with the moon: go to the final stage
*two prongs and aligned with the planet: loop

I've been really wondering why I keep seeing two different portals, thought it didn't meant anything, gotcha thanks
We'll be keeping our eyes out now on which portal to use
