Multiplayer lagging

Since the update me and my friend have been getting major lag on private multiplayer games and none of us have wifi issues or anything, is anyone else experiencing this?

yes, I do experience big lag spikes every few moments ever since I bought the game. I wish they'll fix this problem one day

i dont mean that, i mean connection issues. its only on ror2 where my friend and i cant host a game properly bc the connections bad but we live in the same region and everything. before this update it was fine

I have experienced the same problem, game is mostly unplayable in multiplayer, especially cross platform multiplayer

Sorry for the confusion, I am talking about the connection issues. My game kept lagging badly / disconnecting occasionally, but not when playing other games with my same friends like Deep Rock. Terraria also have this kind of problem and I think steam server has to do with it.

Crossplay is the culprit 99% of the time. If everyone has it disabled you shouldn't be getting any lag.
