Unable to Re-join a Lobby

I've been wondering if anyone else experiences this since we weren't able to find anything about a fix on this online.

Me and my bf have been playing the game, we join a Multiplayer game in the same Lobby and we start the game, this happens randomly but at some point everything stops on my end (bf is hosting the game) and I am unable to interact with anything right before it disconnects me from the game. I've tried to re-join the game again using "Join Friend" through Shift+Tab on Steam but it always says that the " Lobby is Full ".

Any idea on what we could try? (We have disabled Cross-play)

I don't think vanilla has the ability to rejoin. There is a mod called DropinMultiplayer by niwith (https://thunderstore.io/package/niwith/DropinMultiplayer/) that should let you reconnect. I've personally not used it before and don't know if it works with the latest update, but worth a shot.

It's a bit overpowered, as if you die you can just do the join command again and you respawn (we realized this and changed our survivors to heretic for the logbook).
