Personally, I'd love for both lizards and drones to be revived when you go to the next stage. They could just not evolve if they die, and have to rebuy drones to repair.
At the end of the day though, its a joke artifact. Its goofy and for fun. Its broken and not meant to be balanced. Enjoy the lizard army at whatever difficulty and with whatever items you want
I addressed this. They don't stack fast enough.
My only glaring 'f this im out' gripe is the elder lemur stampede making it hard to see/move.
And 5 stacks of tougher times is the only thing that does anything on enemies??? What? Backup mags makes them fire significantly faster, tri tip or crit makes them shred your health especially if on something like a mushroom, repulsion plate gives them big DR to name a few.
Then there is the preview (that video with 50 of them fghting a Grovetender) which is a total scam since the game cap the number allies to 20.
I had some interresting runs with Devotion enabled, but I rather have drones indeed.
Monster Tooth and Power Elixir helps a lot when their number is a bit low;
Medkit and Cautious Slug gets more effective when you have more Lemurians splitting the enemy's attention more often;
If you find one, Dio's Best Friend / Pluripotent Larva will make them almost unkillable.
And for them being scattered when spawning on a new map, Paul's Goat Hoof + Red Whip.
Void investors and void jailors/et cetera basically just invalidate them entirely no matter how buff or fast they are
they still just stand in the large void collapse and die by the hundreds
