Finding the exit

Sometimes I cannot find the exit. I search and search, and cover the whole map practically. I am so confused. Is there any give away?

floating sparkles around it, and generally the 'opposite' corner of where you spawn

yeah like Hiroko said there will be reddish orange particles in the air of the general vicinity of the teleporter. And while they are right that it is more often than not farther away from where you spawn, do not discount it being close. It takes some time to get better at finding but once you know the maps like the back of your hand you can start finding it pretty quickly

You can see particles in the air near the exit, as others have said. There is also music that plays the closer to the exit you are. It's subtle, but it's there.

as hiroko said usually it's on the opposite part of your spawn, sometimes it spawns in some very tricky spots example: down the 2 elevators on stage 5, between them. Or near a giant rock almost otside the map on some stages.

worst 2 I've had:
in the cave you find a certain good boi
and literally dead center inside one of the giant arches, where it was impossible to get close enough to interact with.
One of those weird spawn spots taught me where a potential newt portal spawns though.

If you have the in game music going and are using headphones, there's a quiet synth underneath the rest of the music that is directional to where the exit is, so even if you can't see the exit, you can hear where it is from the music.
