if you have too many items Mithrix doesnt give any of them back (BUG)

i played a pretty long god run just a few minutes ago and i had maybe 6 of every red item so you can guess how many others i had, i was only 2 hours in so i was pretty damn fast now that i think about it. but anyways i got to the last phase knowing "i will probably die" since he is so strong that late and you of course lose all your items. but the problem was i almost killed him but then got "lasered" by his machine gun or whatever attack. which i was fine with but the thing that kinda annoyed me is that i only got a Runald's Band back and otherwise i had nothing (so 1 green yay) but since you probably all now you get them back when you damage him over time (usually) it just felt kinda unfair having no mobility at ALL (captain) when he was almost dead, i know im repeating myself and rambling but my mind is still going at 200mph after that late a run. when he was almost dead i (at least all the other times i have fought him) got basically all my items back before he was at half health? im gonna assume its a bug since the game was not happy with me, it ran "ok" at 90 fps though my pc costs more than i would like to admit so ♥♥♥♥ was going down. when i opened a chest at one point the item popped out and then the chest closed again and opened again now with a different item (first one dissapeared) so this is likely an isolated case but i still want to warn someone if this happens to them aswell. :) sorry for rambling and even more sorry if you managed to read all of this haha.

directly from the Wiki, Meaning you only get all your items back when he is defeated, not during the fight, that's why only some of your items returned to you.

All the damage you do to him before he ends the item steal doesn't matter in getting your items back.

Okay, i am going to type REAAAALY SLOW so you can understand.

when i quoted that i by no means whatsoever implied by any means that you dont get any items during the fight, so your comment is literal brain cancer.

Furthermore when you damage him he only gives back items over time, i thought quoting the wiki would help you understand but it seems your too simpleminded so you need it explained to you, thats okay though.

this means that when you damage him, you have a chance to get your item back, and a chance not to, when you get the item chance the items will come to you in order of which you lost them, this does not mean you are meant to get all of your items back during the fight with him.

you ONLY get all your items back after he dies and thats it, there no hidden mechanic here, no secret message for you to dechiper in my comment, these are the facts plain and simple bud, you not getting your items back? hit him more and stop being complete trash at the game.

also you should "read it again" i told you he only gets all of his items back when he dies, i never said you didnt get them periodicaly during the fight, i even added it in the quotes, you are an annoying dill hole
