Too many ads.
Slow to load sometimes.
Occasionally throws a full screen ad that warrants a refresh for me to see the page I wanted to see.
Just generally annoying to use.
Also too much of the 'run/owned by a crappy, faceless, over-corporatized entity' factor.
This video can elaborate more on the matter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qcfuA_UAz3I
The site has just become too much of a nuisance for me to feel good about using as a wiki.
I mean, there's a reason why the dev's themselves of Risk of Rain Returns opted to say this at the end of their steam community news post for the first patch (patch 1.0.2) of that game:
"p.s. We've also launched an Official Wiki! The community is hard at work filling the pages - https://riskofrainreturns.wiki.gg/wiki/Risk_of_Rain_Returns_Wiki"
Deliberately showing that they were setting that game's wiki on Wiki.gg and NOT Fandom.
and I'm not watching your video
The information found on the fandom wiki is just fine for the most part and once you become familiar with the game you won't need to visit it anymore
Well, then, you're an idiot. You asked what was wrong with Fandom, and that video answers that question. An adblocker doesn't help with its problems.
What information do you need? I know a thing or two and I know how to use google.
