Or, you can play retool, you'll be less specialized but you still hit quite hard, and you have access to two equipments so you can compensate with that.
For the weaknesses, I've already mentioned the lack of crowd control. It becomes RNG dependant if you specialize it, if you can't find the right items you might not have a lot of fun playing. And for me, idk if others had this issue, as it's a bigger character, but with the same base speed stat, it feels slower at start.
Talos: Yes, he's the third character I've played so far and while I've unlocked a few others since gaining access to MUL-T I haven't tried them because I've really liked his mobility and the speed potential I've come across so far. I have not used leach seed though I believe I've come across it.
Matonadia: Retool sounds much more up my alley but it's great to hear and explore the different options. The crowding can get pretty obnoxious. Who I play most with likes to double to monsters at half health on monsoon and it can be overwhelming at times, but fun. I have noticed base speed is frustratingly slow initially, but by level 15 it can almost feel too fast haha. Think I'll lay off the caffeine just a little
MUL-T also gets a fun accuracy bug in power mode if you take a saw or rebar launcher in your primary slot, and a nail gun in your secondary slot. There is also double rebar with retool that exploits the weapon swap to fire your weapon faster then intended. Double rebar was nerfed in a way that you have to manually tap retool if you don't have any attack speed.
in terms of weaknesses, he has wonky movement compared to other characters, he litteraly moves different because he is on wheels so vertical mobility is even more important on him than other characters as you wont have that goofy restriction when you are in the air. He also has lower base damage than the other survivors so items and equipment that deal base damage percentage are weaker unless you can apply them relentlessly (like bleed with nailguns)
