Sirens call not spawning eggs to trigger alloy worship unit

Im on stage 20 the past 2 goes around this run were sirens call and as far as i could see only one egg spawned on the whole map, the other nests are empty and i cant spawn the boss to get my red item. Why dis?

Often times, when you gain enough power, the eggs will quickly get destroyed by total accident. On top of this, there is a bug that will skip the boss spawn event. When five eggs are destroyed the boss is summoned, but if you destroy multiple eggs at once, the count can exceed five before the check has been performed. I learned this when I used a Will-o'-the'wisp printer to create explosions the size of the map.
