For now, its better to just play around with mods, since we cant really expect new stuff from Gearbox. I mean, they not only trying to port the RoR2 DLC to consols (which as ben going on for months by now), they also updating the remasterd version of RoR1.
The remasterd version is very much so being the main focus, then adding new content to RoR2, so there is gonna be a very long wait before they add new content to RoR2
Granted Hopoo went through years of developing, going through Early Access, and the Anniversary+SOTV updates, plus they had to have been working with ROR Returns during the latter parts. As for GB on ROR2 I'm assuming their going to leave this alone as is (I hope), and if they do anything it'll be completely seperate from the previous entries.
Beyond that, they could honestly call the game done aside from necessary balancing and patches.
I can't wait to play as the sigma epic hyper giga mega chad named nemesis enforcer and violently suplex golems in vanilla.
