Not hard to find unless you use zero brain cells.
I currently have a pretty absurd amount of mods installed, but those are the only two I can think of that I would never uninstall for any reason.
Oh and also Loona Railgunner. That is an absolute must.
I only use well-made character and skin mods (which aren't 'must use' by any metric). The best are those by EnforcerGang, that is, Enforcer, Miner, Sniper, and HAN-D. Paladin is also very good, Ganon is fine, and CHEF is acceptable. I haven't yet tried some of the most recent character mods to really judge, among them at least one looks good though.
I don’t really like him because I feel he’s a bit basic, but he’s really well made, I recommend it.
Would you mind providing the author name for the paladin mod? When I look up there are tons of mods with paladin in the title.
It's made by Paladin_Alliance, here's a direct link to it.

they added a new feature awhile back that lets you change into mobs and stuff if youre host
Thanks!
I agree with the whole sentiment, and TT was the one I was thinking of when I mentioned the one that looked good - I had just played with him once, so I wasn't ready to pass judgement then (I completed a few runs since). I'd put him at the acceptable level, along with Murath Machinist, who has immense firepower, yet low survivability and a large model to balance that. The others didn't turn out to be any good.
