Overall, and realistically, SP is far superior. It even helps that it guards itself from the printing pool, unlike teddies. Its pretty situation/skill dependent which is better for a little while, with teddies essentially being better against dot until SP can block it all, but SP is the better long term choice for sure. Teddies only really take the theoretical final win because while SP can reach 100% every-tick, teddy can reach 100% due to code limits with no per-frame limit. This final outcome is objectively impossible without cheating, even with sacrifice runs, due to the time it would take to achieve. I just didn't clarify that well. I was too focused on the 'but there are downsides' part. I'm often bad at explaining things.
Singularity is great for combos, but the one you said, and most others, are terrible for fps. Without those combos, it basically comes down to QoL vs being able to scrap/print, and I find printing more beneficial. But if your potato can handle even one aoe nuke its a great choice. This downside is really more aimed at the extreme potato pc players like myself.
