Well guess what? Someone forgot to correctly implement stage boundaries for enemies, so it's just suck out there. You literally need a character or ability with infinite range, or you kinda just have to reset, or wait like 45 minutes for it to come back. It sucks, but that's just how it works
bosses take significantly less knockback. The thing is, like I said in my initial comment, mercanry can place a dash in just the right spot, and it for some reason just sends the boss flying.
If you want a comparable example to what's happening on a smaller scale, hit an elite wisps with a fully choked captain primary, they go flying (and will instantly die upon hitting a wall)
