How so? I have played the game for awhile so Mithrix has gotten repetitive, but his attacks feel much more "active" as you and him are both moving around a lot and it forces you to stay on your toes. With voidling you just kinda stand under him. I think that Voidling's gimmick of going through a portal and forcing you to complete a mini-"challenge" (that really just boils down to parkour) is more interesting than Mithrix's simple phase changing (though the arena technically changes too), but the main part of the fight where you are actually "dodging" his attacks is much more mundane imo.
I could tank literally everything in game but him, they homming range just feels to large and i died on first phase as well
I think my only complaint isn't about the Voidling stage or boss fight at all, but the Void Lotus stage where you charge the signals before going into the Voidling stage. When too many Void Jailers spawn, you are spending half your time in the void field zone dodging the instakill void explosion zones which is super annoying.
Still, overall I really like it. He feels like a much better late game boss than Mithrix, who can just delete you in phase 3 after he steals enough items. I like having another option to end a god run besides obliterating now.
i tried fighting him for fun after i knew what to do, but gave up after being one-shotted through max hp, a full barrier, and 4 shield generators less than halfway through his first phase.
to be fair, i've only fought him on monsoon, so that might have something to do with how busted he feels. either way, voidling has committed the cardinal sin of being boring, and i can not forgive him for that.
love you, mithrix. you a real one.
