Regenerating Scrap

If I were doing non-sacrifice with command on, on infinite loops or a mod that makes green printers reliably available, I'd prioritize it. Normal command 1-loop runs are way too rare to find a printer that is useful to warrant gimping 99 runs to get 1 god run.

Who needs green printers when you can pop into the Bazaar and trade them for reds after nearly every stage?

Or literally every stage once you get to the bazaar once, since you can start forcing it to go to maps with guaranteed newt altars.

Yeah green printers are not that common but you go to the bazaar and get your reds for free.

Is it possible for a regenerating scrap printer to spawn? And if it is, does that mean infinite green items?

Yeah, it's possible. I hadn't thought about it but it may be infinite if there is another green 3d printer at the stage.

It's not infinite... You can only use the scrap once per level, and you can't scrap or trade the "used" form of it.

But if there's a regenerating scrap PRINTER, you use your regen scrap (or any green item) on it and get a new one, then use the new one to print another one, and so on until you have however many you want. I really hope this can happen, imagine trading 500 scrap for 100 Bottled Chaos in a shop .

Yeah I imagine that scrap prints in its 'used' state so that you can't just print infinite green scrap off of it. But I've never actually used a regen scrap printer before so I can't be sure. I know for a fact that they exist though.

The scrap prints in its normal state if I remember correctly.

have you seen one? I don't think it would spawn normally since you could spam it with the scrap you make.
