Still, if you stay too long at Abyssal depths post-loop you're bound to find one, so take your time on that stage. That also applies to Rallypoint delta or sky meadows.
I don't think any artifact would increase the chance of it appearing, besides maybe Artifact of Dissonance (but every boss can appear in every stage and overloading worm is still credit expensive so it's not like it's a big probability).
If my calculations are correct, that will give the teleporter boss director around 4000 credits, enough to summon an overloading worm. I don't think it'll work well, though. I´d say... Keep looping, triggering mountain shrines in the stages it can appear and you'll eventually find one.
But does the mountain shrine increase the chances of the boss actually being a worm? Wouldn't it just duplicate the worm itself if it's actually chosen as a boss?
Early game the director will only spawn multiple bosses because an elite boss is too expensive to spawn, but the further you go the higher the chance is that it'll spawn something bigger if it can afford it. I think I got my first scavenger because I used a few mountain shrines in stage 9 abyssal depths in rainstorm (Now I only play on Monsoon so those start appearing everywhere way easier).
I'm not sure if overloading worm can spawn before looping if you give the director enough credits but if it does, the artifact of dissonance should remove that limitation.
Right. That makes sense. The wiki says that it's technically possible for an overloading worm to spawn before looping but it's extremely rare, so I won't count on it. I'll just keep looping with a few artifacts active until I get it again, and I'll be sure to use any mountain shrines I can find. Thanks!.
I'll try all of these out plus Sacrifice and maybe Swarms. I'm thinking that maybe the increased spawn rate may give the director more chances to spawn the worm.
