Use your M551 Pylon special skill to clear groups of weak enemies like Wisps and to give you something to grapple off of in open spaces
Use your secondary grapple to gain lots of mobility and speed- Pretend you're spider man.
And then, with all your built up mobility, time your usage of the charge fist (be it charged gauntlet or thunder gauntlet) and release it into a group of enemies.
The single most important thing to know about the loader is that the faster you're moving, the harder Charged Gauntlet/Thunder Gauntlet hits. And I mean the baseline of the skill is 2,700% damage fully charged, and then from there if you're also going fast, it does even more. You should almost always be using it out of a swing rather than on flat ground. Used properly you can kill even bosses in a single hit- And it recharges in just 5 seconds.
So use your extreme mobility-by-grapple and your immunity to fall damage to group enemies up and stay safe, then One-Punch your way through the group. If you miss some, just swing around a little longer and repeat- It recharges in 5 seconds after all.
TL;DR: Move fast, Punch hard, Repeat.
it charges a lot faster and still does good damage
it's kinda just better
actually pretty much all of loader's alts are better (the r ability is completely different, "better" doesn't apply there)
Charged Gauntlet charges up and does 600-2700% (+momentum) and pierces all targets in a line- With a lot of momentum you can just delete anything in a long line in an instant. You can hold the charge for as long as you want and release it whenever you please.
Thunder Gauntlet does 2100% damage straight up with no charge time (+momentum), however, rather than piercing you only do 2100% to the target you actually hit with the punch, and do 1000% to enemies in a cone behind them.
Personally, I vastly prefer the charged gauntlet- Used properly you can delete numerous hard targets like elder lemurians and boss type mobs. And, honestly, as far as I see it... You can get 2700+Momentum damage on everything in a long line, Or you can get 2100% on a single target and 1000% on anything in a cone shaped area
behind it.
Also an important note is that with the Charged gauntlet, due to the pierce you carry your momentum through the punch and can pick up with a grapple on the other side to keep moving- But with the Thunder gauntlet, you strike the target and stop dead, Putting you at risk and leaving you with a need to regain your momentum again.
Basically, Thunder gauntlet sacrifices a monumental amount of killing power for 'easier usability'.
