How to get captain's new ability?

The achievement says I need to kill the final boss (I assume mithrix) with a supply beacon...the supply beacons heal and shock? Or does the initial impact do some amount of damage? To be clear it isn't my shift ability but my R that must kill him?

the third beacon "Supply beacon" that gives you equipement charges is the one your looking for.

Oh i read it wrong - Seems to be any beacon that can kill him for it to cross off? i'll do a run later.

Any beacon works, yeah. You gotta finish him off by dropping one on him.

The supply beacon is the name of the skill, theres 4 versions of it, Healing, Shocking, Resupply, and Hacking. All of them do damage on impact and therefore they can all be used (got the unlock with the healing one for the irony of it myself)

glad i could help n good luck on getting it yourself best tip i have is get mithrix down to pretty low health on the final stage or stack shaped glass so he has verry little health and then try to drop the beacon on his head

Orbital strike deals 1000% damage each hit for a total of 3000%, supply beacons deals 2000% damage.
