Why teleporters chare only to 99% and not 100%?
This is kind of super wierd why devs didn't made them go to 100%? Like there is no point NOT to make them go to 100%... I don't get it...

When teleporter gets stuck at 99% it indicates that boss also needs to be defeated in order for that teleporter to reach 100%, but this is technically wrong. You can kill the boss outside of the teleport zone while teleporter is capped at 99% and both tasks will be completed immediately, in this scenario you don't need to get back into the teleport zone in order to gain that 1% which you are evidently missing. This means that teleporter is fully charged when it hits 99%, so yeah there is no reason that that number shouldn't simply say '100%' instead. My only guess that this exists, is to create some sort of urgency (like you're not done with your tasks hurry up and kill that boss) :]

When it hits 100% it opens, it will not open while the zone's boss is still alive.

No, no, actually it still says 99%, even after boss dies and there is new task "Proceed Throu Teleproter", it still says 99%...

no, no, the teleporter charge task completes and disappears, it doesn't stay as 99%.

This actually happens in vanilla sometimes, but is much more common with mods (specifically mods that effect teleporter event/spawns like no-boss-no-wait). Its also more common as the difficulty scales up in long runs, along with the case where bosses don't spawn at all - which usually is 'fine' in that the event still ends but sometimes it doesn't and you get softlocked in the same way.

Wrong: as soon as it turns from 98% to 99% it allows you to leave. I think what you're confusing is that if you don't kill the boss in time, then it stays at 99% until you kill it. And it's not a mods thing because i've done this both on PC vanilla and on Switch

I mean, when you killed boss it crosses out task "charge teleporter 99%". Why couldn't they just chage it to "charge teleporter 100%", to indicated that after boss died its 100% charged?

oh, i have no idea why it works like that, and honestly idc because it gives us slightly faster times to leave. That's kinda min-maxing but it's still an advantage

I think mb they mean that "you charged TP to 99% AND killed boss" when it is crossed out and dissapears. So this ASSUMES that TP now 100% charged and next task is to proceed throu it...

again, that would make sense, but if you kill the boss first, goes from 98 to finished. Like it doesn't wait for the full second or however long it is on 99 before allowing you to enter and before spawning the portals

Yeaaa, its so wierd that such a core game mechanic woks so unintuitively still!!

Never installed any mods, and this also happens to me. Only noticed it at first because I was going for the Glorious Battle challenge and had a strategy that involved getting out of the teleporter charge area at 99% charge. I ended up needing to leave at 98% charge because the teleporter is fully charged once it reaches 99%.

Because the charge indicator didn't have room for a third digit and they ran out of money. I mean, you go through dozens of the things in a single run, they'd have to make an entirely new order, when they have a bunch more timers just sitting in a warehouse collecting dust!

devs are lazy most bugs are unfixed
