Best equipment build runs you've done successfully?
Well everyone here knows about gesture of the drown and that wonderful artifact of command, right? WELLLL I'd love to hear all the stupidity and potentially PC-crashing builds by abusing fuel cells and gestures of the drown you've done! Doesn't have to be 100% reliant on purely equipment, maybe even just made more "safe" or "for extra DPS".

Personally I've done Fruit spam and sawmerang but otherwise I haven't found something equally as efficient or dumb. Hit me with your ideas!

I think it was 50 fuel cells and around 20 gestures in a command run i did, and i just equipped gnarl and had infinite healing, it worked just like the royal, looking at another player or target would Zeus them into healthy shape, and when you didn't look at stuff, it healed you a whole ton lol.

I'm particularly fond of the one that requires you to look at an enemy to smite it. On full cooldown+gesture, its an experience.

i used Gesture of the Drowned alongside Spinel Tonic and power cells. (Can't remember how many of each spesifically). having it go off repeatedly basically negated the negatives while still giving me the positives. Really helped me obliterate as Loader on monsoon in under 25 minutes.

Yeah my buddy used tonic a lot and I tried the smite one, they're not entirely game breaking but very fun I agree!

One I was considering was a full out missile build with the missile equipment and tons of ATGs

I played MUL-T and picked up 2 gestures and 2 fuel cells. In one equipment slot I used spinel tonic and gorag’s opus in the other. It was fun :)

Soulbound catalyst, ceremonial dagger, and that equipment that activates on kill skills. Only had like 4 fuel cells and no gesture but I could permanently have at least 1 active at once and maintain a temp hp barrier with the topaz brooches I had. It did enough damage to kill a mithrix form in like a minute without me attacking (certainly not the most damage possible, but considering most on kill affects are aoe mithrix was by far the slowest to kill target).

Yeah that equipment that procs kills is really helpful when you have a bunch of brooches, also good for getting each infusion maxed to it's maximum potential. I find a fun one is the on death equipment with a few items such as brooch to increase your chances of surviving, LOTS of will o' wisps for big nuke-like explosion, and the ceremonial daggers is fun too with it. You just nuke the map pretty much the second a bunch of enemies spawn in, having bleed maxed and shatterspleen also just increases how lethal this can be. I haven't tested this to it's full potential and/or against mithrix though and kinda want to now :P

The strategy is to have your fuel cell and gesture count add up to 5, and then have 3 war horns too.

I like to do double rebar swap on MUL-T with two blast showers, runald's and kjaro's bands, and pair that with gestures and fuel cell. The blast showers will be constantly resetting the cooldown on the bands, so more often than not you will be hitting with the bands. If you add in a soulbound catalyst, if you kill something with the bands, the cooldown on the blast showers will reset immediately and from then on almost every rebar will activate bands.

chaos on
no Gesture
no fuel cell
30+ razorwire
ifrits distinction
14 tri-tip daggers
playing as acrid

right-click beneath me, burn myself, poison myself, bleed myself and fire off razor wire at everything that exists about 10 times per second...

the crash part happened because i had enough clovers and 1 AGT that id literally have a snake-like line of missles erupting from me while anything existed, spawn on a new map with maxed out enemy count and the game just goes from FPS to SPF then gives out, couldnt handle the sheer onslaught of my own razorwire and rocket spam.

10/10 would deal so much benign damage from merely existing that the game couldnt handle my existence anymore again.

Acrid has that hawt natural uke and I've been there with multi double rebar swap it's hella OP at beginning, I actually for some reason haven't thought about the bands on it though for some reason lmao I just did like a million crowbars and crit lmao.

I am a basic man, I see 1-shot opportunity and I take it

Blast shower + Fire/ice ring on double rebar MUL-T. The rings CD is counted as debuff, so blast shower resets it.

Disposible missile launcher/Royal capacitor/Glowing meteorite + proc chain items, as they have a proc coef of 1. Sawmerang/Backup is probably fun for 1 loop, but they cannot proc ukulele/ATG/Bands/Meat hook/Molten Perforator (proc chain).

Foreign fruit + N'kuhana's opinion. Add rejuvenation rack/Aegis for bonus. Note: should work well on engineer, as fungus also trigger N'kuhana on turrets. That said, N'kuhana only has a 0.2 proc coef.

Jade Elephant + cooldown reduction. +500 constant armor (87% damage reduction before reflective barriers, making them viable longer)

Helfire Tincture + Razorwire. Return damage with a 0.5 proc coef. The good thing here is razorwire's +10m/stack scaling so it can turn mapwide. It does not have innate damage scaling through, so scale with proc chain. Razorwire deals no damage if it is blocked by teddy, so avoid teddies. Maybe stack reflective to protect yourself from helfire tincture DOT.

Second favorite: 4 total Gesture/Fuel cell + 1 spinal tonic for 100% uptime. For what it gives, this is really easy to setup usually within 1 loop making it eclipse viable. The best thing about spinal is that it is multiplicative with your other stats (more multiplier). (Does scale acrids regenerative. Gorag is iirc not a more multiplier, which is why it is irrelevant. Engi turrets are not affected by spinal*sadface*).

Favorite (game crasher): Forgive me please. If I get a Soulbound Catalyst I ALWAYS look for a forgive me please, but it can be done with 8-11~ fuel cells/gesture. Look for will of the wisp, 1 berzerker's pauldron, ceremonial dagger, Ghor's tome, Topaz brooch, frost relic if melee.
A small amount of topaz brooch keeps you topped on barrier. Will and ceremonial dagger has 1.0 proc coef, and they both scale damage (which is good).

Anything above that gives infinite barrier should be considered with Transcendence, for more max barrier.

Anything that gives you tankiness but no damage, should be considered with Shaped Glass. But do note what in the game has one-shot mechanic, like void reaver.

If you want 2 of the setups above at once, then it can be done easily on double Rebar Puncher Mul-T.

Hmm, I like it... I'll definitely have to check some of these out... and yeah I do find razorwire funny
Shindiggidy Jan 16, 2021 @ 6:23pm
Gesture, Blast shower, Soulbound Catalyst, 3 Ceremonial Daggers, just enough fuel cells so that 1 kill gives you an equipment reset, and as many kjaro's bands as possible. Everything dies as soon as it spawns.
Keavu Reene Jan 16, 2021 @ 6:32pm
Things dying in 0.00001 seconds sounds kinda litty doe
