How to get the captain legendary ?

I' m just lacking one item to have everything and i think it's the Captain's eye legendary which he owns.
But how is it possible to have this item on another character than the captain and at the start ?
I mean i never found the Captain's item in the World for another character...
Any idea ?

Either shrine of order or artifact of umbra.

The later is the easiest way. Turn on the artifact, don't pick up anything. Wait 10 minutes.

Well thanks but it doesn't work with the artifact of command, it shows 20 red items without the Captain's eye...
In the journal you can see 21 red items so there's a trick really to obtain this last item.
I think it can appear with the shrine of order wich changes your items but it's annoying.
There's something non logical here to get this damned item ^^

The only way to obtain the item is to play as the captain, who starts with it. It does not drop from any chest, not even legendary chests, it can't be obtained through command.

To my knowledge, there is only one way to obtain the log entry for the defensive microbots: Play as the captain, and Enable the artifact of vengeance and slay your shade which has a chance of dropping any item you had on you when the umbra was spawned; which of course includes the captains special item.

artifact sacrifice + artifact of umbra. don't pick up anything and wait 10 mins and stay on first map

your clone will 100% drop the eye.

Yeah as stated, artifact of vengeance.

Literally don't grab any items for 10 minutes then kill doppelganger for guaranteed microbots. should be easy especially if you use your ults on him.
