X person cannot play with Y person unless they are running the same Z copy of the game...
This apply's to VERSIONS of, and MODS APPLIED... AH duh!
it also says deprecated, is it still funtional?
The same comment applies, even if you're the host running that mod, why would you choose to mess with someone elses vanilla run of the game unless that four C word applied to you?\
Seems redundant to ask if i'm where i'd like to be or why bother commenting, cause the same answer applies apparently.
Mods that add content (i.e. characters, stages, enemies, items, etc) require the host/server and all clients to have the mods.
Mods that change simple gameplay mechanics (i.e. late join, item share, whatever handsoap posted, etc) only require the host/server to have the mod.
Mods that do not affect gameplay, nor introduce any new content whatsoever (i.e. betterui, ost swaps, etc) only require the client to have the mod.
