Will Genesis Loop work on Engineer's turrets during INSTANT death (from 1 hit) and resurrection from Dio's best friend?

Genesis loop won't fire if you die first, same as the actually wandering vagrant attack.

indeed. you'll want some other items to make your bots tankier. if you can score an aegis and lots of mushrooms, leeching seed, steak and other healing items they can typically take care of themselves long enough to detonate. then having something like topaz brooch or even the healing rack will keep them topped off forever.

i actually had one instance of healing them i used the voodoo doll equipment, it spawned monster tooth necklace orbs and those seemed to heal one of em as well as proc my other kill effects to keep them safe. i love that doll if i can get a soulbound catalyst + a drowned.

You can pile up on heals but a relatively simple way to make your turrets survive while in danger is stealth kit. Genisis and stealth kit is a relatively good combo on any survivor.
