2nd Stage Elder Lemurian HOM??
Activated the second teleporter event at the 7 minute mark and got 3 glacial elder lemurians.

Monsoon, no artefacts on the wetland aspect level.


Is HOM meant to occur that early?
Anyone else experienced super early HOMs?

I usually get that on stage 5 ,never happened so early. It's also possible to have a lemurian only level ( it's a rare event), maybe that caused it?

Overloading beetle guards on 2nd stage, was playing engineer at the time so that ♥♥♥♥ hurted

That seems a bit cruel to me.

I had hoped they would scrap elites and actually design some more interesting monsters to fight instead of copy pasta bullet sponges.

And could well have been lemurians only, there were plenty of regular ones running amok!

There's a random event where only lemurians and elder lemurians spawn for an entire stage. IIRC, the teleporter boss is always a horde of elder lemurians when it occurs.

HoM can rear it's ugly face at any Tele. Some are less disgusting than others, but the majority of them are going to wall you hard and slow your pace. Or just mash your face against the wall and throw you back to the main menu.

Usually happens when playing Mercenary, getting blessed with Lemurians always on stage 4.

Overloading HoM are just so unfun to fight because you have to pummel them nonstop or they will regenerate 50% of their health. Combined with chonk enemies like Elder Lemurians or just a massive group of Brass Contraptions, it can very easily be a run ender

Got killed in 3 frames (!!!) by blazing elder lemurian as a 750 hp engineer. Virtually makes no sense that you get punished so hard for standing still while no other boss would kill you in 3 frames.

It used to be worse, they actually toned it down in past updates

It's a shame the OSP mechanic isn't that great.

A health gating system would be really nice but also pretty hard to balance

malachite used to have 23x health multiplier too
